I facilitate participatory, creative sessions that offer people voice and dignity. In the last 5 years, I have led over twenty retreats for community leaders on themes of resilience, courage, welcome and inclusion. I have designed peer-to-peer learning sessions for UK and international conferences and board away days, both face-to-face and online, and hosted reflection sessions for women, theological students and peacebuilders, in settings such as a housing association, university chaplaincy and reconciliation centre.

Examples of work include:
- hosting a weekend retreat programme on the theme of "welcome"
- leading a day retreat exploring the links between spirituality and social justice
- facilitating a reflection session for students on return from a peacebuilding visit

"I have had the privilege of being part of peace initiatives led by Kate Monkhouse at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace and with Reconcilers Together. Kate's ability to 'hold' a group in a conflict situation is a gift to the church and the wider world. I whole heartedly recommend Kate as a facilitator both in interpersonal and corporate work."
